The NEW Riverjet base is located on Highway 5 between Taupo and Rotorua. We are situated 44 kms from Rotorua and 34 kms from Taupo right on the Highway. It's easy to find.

From Rotorua: Follow State Highway 5, main road to Taupo. 49Kms to base, approx 40 minute drive.
From Taupo: Follow State Highway 5, main road to Rotorua. 29Kms to base, approx 30 minute drive.
What to bring:
You are welcome to bring a camera on board to capture the magnificent scenery you will encounter on the way. In the summertime, it is recommended to bring sunglasses and sunscreen for protection and in the colder months, warm clothing is essential. Riverjet can supply sunglasses, gloves and full length spray jackets free of charge.
